I decided to switch to a more widely available brand in the Philippines called Sakura.

It’s not as suave as the Pentel Brushpen or a sable brush but it does the job efficiently.

What Brush should you Use?

While products like the Pentel Brushpens and the sable brush are a joy to use, I suggest using a more economical brush such as Sakura or other similar brands.

While they may produce superior results in the hands of an experienced artist you may not necessarily produce the same results, especially if you’re just starting out. Thus, it might be better to start out with a cheaper brand while you hone your skills making the whole experience more cost efficient.

Invest in better tools when your skills (and hopefully your finances) level-up.
