Fassbender’s character in 300 is a warrior that lives for greater and greater challenges in the battlefield. Fassbender, the actor plays guitar, piano, and accordion and speaks fluent German.

According to Wikipedia, “he is related on his mother’s side to Michael Collins, one of the leaders of Ireland’s war of independence”.
