1. Alexandra Trese will be portrayed by Alessandra de Rossi

First of all, a disclaimer: I didn’t pick Ms. De Rossi just because she shares the same (more or less) first name as the protagonist.

Let’s think about the reasons why she should play Trese.

First of all, she’s beautiful and sexy (which is a plus). Second, she has the attitude and personality to pull off Trese’s character (portraying a brooding young woman mixed up with the occult and all manners of things that go bump in the night is not going to be a walk in the park, believe you me). Third, and most important of all, SHE CAN ACTUALLY ACT!

One only has to look at her resume.

Also, you have to admit, she bears a striking resemblance to Trese.
