We were invited to give a lecture about comic books at the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) some time back in February 10, 2009.

Together with Gerry Alanguilan and Johnny Danganan, we discussed Philippine comic books’ rich history, the need for a formalized system of learning, and the business involved in the production and distribution of digital comic books. We also talked lengthily about the potential of this medium.

We conducted a portfolio review after the lectures, autographed stuff, and made some quick sketches on offered pieces of paper and various other surfaces which included the backs of some of the students’ t-shirts.
